What do we assess in this service?
Trade Register filings are online in 2026
From 1 January 2026, companies must as a rule file notifications and applications with the Finnish Trade Register online. PRH does not register ordinary company notifications sent by post or email and directs companies to the applicable online service or online form.
Keep registered details accurate
Board members, managing director, signing rights, addresses and other registered details should be updated when they change. PRH can impose negligence-related consequences for incomplete or incorrect Trade Register details under the current Trade Register Act framework.
Beneficial-owner information
Limited liability companies and other entities subject to the requirement must file beneficial-owner details and keep them current. PRH has continued enforcement in 2026 and can impose a EUR 300 negligence fee where required beneficial-owner information is missing.
Financial statements
Limited liability companies and co-operatives must file financial statements with the Trade Register within eight months from the end of the financial period. The late-submission fee regime applies to financial periods ending in December 2024 or later.
