    EUR 9,600 in your own account

    For studies of a year or more the funds must be in the applicant's own account at the time of application. A private person's guarantee alone is not accepted.

    Insurance of EUR 120,000 or EUR 40,000

    Under two years the cover is medical expenses of at least EUR 120,000; from two years it is pharmaceutical expenses of at least EUR 40,000, with a deductible no higher than EUR 300.

    Work up to 30 hours a week

    A student permit allows paid work in any field, as long as the weekly average across the year stays within 30 hours.
